17” iMac?

It looks like Apple will be upgrading their iMacs by adding 17” flat-panel displays!  If this is true, I am buying one.  I checked out the 15” model a month ago, and it was awesome, but the display was too small.  But with a 17” display, it becomes an excellent machine.  Of course, if they bump the price much, I won’t buy.  Here’s hoping the price stays the same on the high end models!

I nearly purchased an iMac a few days ago for my wife, but decided to wait until after Macworld in case of price cuts, power boosts, upgrades, etc. This news is even more of an incentive to wait a bit.

Tell me about it. I was this close to buying an iMac about a month ago, but the salesman was being stupid about giving me a deal on a display model so I walked. I am SOOO glad I did.
