4th of July Fireworks

4th of July Fireworks

That’s one of the fireworks I saw the other night here in tiny Lockesburg.  For such a small town, they put on quite a nice show.  It lasted almost half an hour.

While this one was nice and large, my favorites are the ones that sound like a cannon going off.  No colors.  No sparklies.  Just a quick flash, followed by a boom that literally shakes the ground.

I ended up taking 55 pictures of the show.  Some didn’t turn out so good.  Others turned out very nice.  Not bad for a little point-and-shoot digital camera.
