Added Site Search & More

Now that Expression Engine has been updated to Public Beta 2, I’ve been able to add a search function to the site.  You can see it in the left hand column.  You can either do a simple search or use the advanced search form.

The advanced search form lets you specify where you want to search for your keywords: titles only, titles and entries or titles, entries and comments.  You can also refine your search by setting a cut-off date to look before or after.  And you can sort your results based on their title, number of comments or most recent comment.

This is a much more powerful search than with pMachine.  Hopefully it will help open up my older entries.

I’ve also been able to add pagination.  You can see it at the top and bottom of my entries.  This should also open up my older entries and make finding things easier.

I’ve now also added related entries to each individual entry.  Now when you’re viewing an individual entry, there will be a list of related links on my site in the left column.
