The New York Post has a simple, well said editorial on why they’re glad Al Gore isn’t president right now. And I very much agree with them. I shudder to think of where we might be right now, what image we would be sending to the fundamentalists if Gore were president.
Gore is two-faced, just like his running mate. While Clinton was president, he supported military action against Iraq. He even defied the Democratic position in the early 90’s and supported war with Iraq. But now, he’s flip-flopped… done a complete 180. I am VERY glad we don’t have a lying, spineless, poll-driven man in the president’s office.
