An Oddity In The Woods

Out in a cluster of trees in a town near us, there’s one of the oddest things I’ve seen in nature. It’s a cedar tree growing out of the limb of a cypress tree! It’s quite high up in this tree too.
People are guessing there was something wrong with the cypress tree’s limb which made it have a gaping hole in one of its limbs. This hole must’ve been filled with dirt and stuff, and then a cedar tree seed found its way inside there. Perhaps a bird relieved itself while perched on the branch several years ago? Who knows?
It’s been growing for a while now, at least several years. I wonder how much longer it can continue growing before it either breaks the limb or runs out of room for its roots?
Anyway, I thought it would be interesting for people to see something like this. Has anyone else seen odd things like this?
