Another pMpost Test

This is another test post with the latest version of pMpost.  New features include saving drafts, a preview window that uses Safari’s engine, spell checking, user definable fonts and colors and more.

This is looking more promising, but the big feature I’m looking for (image uploading) is still missing.  I also can’t edit existing entries and there seems to be a bug where the synchronization sheet won’t go away.  It will get better.  Must… be… patient…

Have you tried Kung Log?

No, I haven’t tried Kung Log yet. I’ll try it out now though.

I tried Kung Log, and it crashes every time I try to connect with pMachine. I don’t get it. Can’t really use something that crashes before I can even connect. That’s a bummer, because it looks really cool.

Tell me about this sheet bug…
You know you only have to synchronize once in order to get your weblogs, categories and authors from your pMachine database, after that you only have to sync when you f.i. add another categorie, or change the name of an author.

Whenever I open pMpost, the sheet pops up automatically. The progress bar starts its animation, and will do it for several minutes. Then, it’ll suddenly stop and the sheet stays there. The status text doesn’t change. It keeps saying, “In Progress…”. I have to click the close button to make it go away.

I checked the preferences, and the auto-sync checkbox was enabled. I don’t remember enabling that. I might have when I was fiddling with the first version. Once I disabled the auto-sync, this behavior stopped.
