Apple Intros Two New iPods

As expected, Apple introduced the black, U2 special edition iPod. It’s basically a 20GB iPod, but black with a red click-wheel. It also has the band members’ signatures on the back. It costs $50 more than a comparable white iPod, but Apple offsets this by giving you a $50 discount coupon which you can use towards the purchase of a digital box-set called “The Complete U2”. It has over 400 songs including 25 rare songs. I imagine it will cost at least $300.
This is kind of a let down, since I thought the U2 iPod was going to come with their new album already loaded. I would’ve sprung for it already, but the lack of their new album is making me hesitate.
Another reason I’m hesitating is because Apple surprised everyone by releasing the iPod Photo. It has a 65k color screen and can store up to 25k photos. That’s if you only store photos. Of course, it has all the features of a normal iPod as well, it’s just got that gorgeous color screen. The price jumps up to $499 for a 40GB version or a whopping $599 for a 60GB version.
So I was excited about buying a special-edition iPod, but am let down by it. The new iPod Photo is too expensive, but really cool. I’m torn as to what I will do.

Other than “Beautiful Day”, I have no idea what U2 has done since “Rattle and Hum”. Coincindently, I cherry-picked “MLK” from the “Unforgettable Fire” album about a week ago.
My wife still loves her 40GB iPod a lot. I think I have played with it twice since I bought it for her. At one time I thought it would be cool to take on road trips for something to listen to, but as I get older, music tends to put me to sleep when I am driving. So I stick with news, talk shows, and radio preachers belting out their warped vision of Christianity.
Radio preachers are hilarious. Every now and then, when I want a good laugh, I’ll tune one in. I can’t believe how many people believe the crap that comes out of their mouths. Granted, not all of them are scheisters, but many of them are.
I plan on using an iPod not only to listen to my music collection (which is getting rather large), but also store important dates and work files. Instead of making work backups to DVD every other week, I could make them daily and only burn to DVD once a month or so.

i think that you should have a buying store on here. also you should convert dollars into pounds or put them both onto your page so that people from the u.k can also buy them. furthermore i also think that you should have black ipods so that if a person wants a black ipod it is not a u2 one. i think that you should also have specified searches so you could know exactly what everyone wants to buy! i hope you take this into consideration xxsandyxx
Buy it on Ebay in 12 months for $70.
