Apple Music

Everyone knew this was coming… Apple has launched it’s own music service as well as a new version of iTunes and a brand-new iPod.

With the new iTunes, you can browse all the songs in Apple’s new music service, preview them for free and download them for 99¢ each.  I still think this is a good idea.  It still allows the artists to get paid for their work and makes it cheap enough for people to buy.  I’ve always wanted something like this.  Instead of buying a CD with only a few songs you like, this way you buy only the songs you like.

The new iPod has been redesigned and holds up to 7500 songs.  It weighs less than 2 CDs and has a battery life that supposedly will last a whole day.

I almost bought my wife an iPod a few days ago, then I thought I had better wait until this week and see what Steve’s big announcement was going to be. Of course, from the rumors going around, we saw the music service coming, but I also had a feeling that new iPod’s were coming.
