Last weekend, while I was mowing our ditches, a bee stung me on the back of the leg. It hurt so bad, I almost fell backwards. I quickly put a mixture of vinegar and baking soda on it. It swelled a bit and itched like hell over the next 4 days, but by Saturday, was almost gone.
But yesterday, mowing the same ditch, I was stung AGAIN by another bee on the other leg! This time, it stung me on my achilles tendon. I put vinegar and baking soda on it again and it seemed to be fine. But today, my ankle has swelled to about twice its normal size and makes walking uncomfortable. I’m thinking I’ll be taking some Benadryl tonight before bed. I’m also thinking it’s time to spray that ditch and kill all those stupid bees! It’s a good thing I’m not allergic to bee stings.
