 For Macs that have a DVD player in them (which is all the new ones and many of the old ones), DVD-Capture allows you to pause a DVD at any point and capture the image. I’ve used it to get several great pictures from The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars Episode 1. You can make some very nice screensavers with the images you can capture. DVD-Capture is freeware. |
 Have you ever seen on some documentaries and shows how the screen pans and zooms across a still picture? Photo-to-Movie allows you to do just this. It creates great looking QuickTime movies and offers many features and settings. Photo-to-Movie is $9.95 shareware. |
