Bush’s Harken “Scandal”

I am getting really sick of these stupid Democratic mudslingers, like Daschle, trying everything they can to tar Bush with “shady” Harken dealings back in the late 80’s and early 90’s.  They keep insinuating that Bush is just like Kenneth Lay.  That Bush knew about the upcoming Harken stock slump, and sold on insider trading.  Now they’re saying that Bush received a loan from his company which is exactly the same as what Bush is fighting against now.

This article in the National Review is excellent in that it does research into the allegations of the whiners and shows what really went on.  All the information they found is publicly available.  Bush had already been investigated and found innocent of insider trading or any corporate misconduct long before all of this mud slinging started.

The Democrat whiners need to shutup and start doing their job.  Stop trying to tar Bush with something he’s NOT guilty of, stop holding up the judicial nominations, stop being political opportunists and start working toward a better US!  If they keep trying to tar Bush and his administration for things that aren’t true, it’s going to backfire on them.
