After seeing the latest edition of Rides, I thought I’d go check out the site of my favorite hot rod designer, Chip Foose. The last time I checked in on the site, it was still under construction. Well, it’s now up and running and looks pretty good.
Chip makes some of the sweetest hot rods I’ve ever seen. And he’s won numerous awards for those hot rods too. The car above is called the Grandmaster, and it’s considered by many to be the perfect hot rod. It’s won many awards including the big one, the Ridler.
I would LOVE for him to work on my car, but know that won’t happen. He’s probably got at least 5 cars he’s working hard on all the time.
Have you guys seen this..?
Jeez, 8 months, and ppl still comes n write their comments, how many of u checked out the link RickART posted on June 10th??,
theres a lof of pics on alll the Building Process of the Impression, thats got 2 b the god damn greatest car ever.
Wait. So let me get this straight. You got caught making a fool of yourself by holding a conversation… with yourself. Not feeling foolish enough, you try to make it sound like you were just trying to see if you could get caught and then lied about when you were posting. Getting caught again, you actually stay up until after 3 am just so you can post that last comment.
Why? You’ve already made yourself out to be a fool. Trying to post at or after 3 am only makes you look even more pathetic. Time to move on. Carry on a conversation with yourself in another site please.
I have a 1970 Ford pickup that I would love to see someone overhaul but I cannot afford the work to be done and I cannot do this type of work anymore. Nothing would make me happier than to do it myself but I have become diabled and can no longer do mechanical work. I watch your show all the time and I have loved everything you have done. I just wish you could arrange to take my truch and overhaul me.
Chris – I think that you should start responding to these messages as “Foose”. Everybody seems to think that anyway. You could have some fun with it – You know, have people ship you their cars thinking that they are going to get overhauled and you can sell them and make a few bucks. What do you think?
Really enjoyed reading this thread. I’ve had the pleasure of talking to both Chip and Boyd at lenght on several occasions and they both were very nice and generous with their time. What ever there differences, they are both masters at what they do and have my deepest respect.
