Chip Foose Redoing My Car!

You are now entering a dream world… Chris’ dream world.

OK… I’ve got a new goal.  I’m going to try my hardest, and see if I can’t get Chip Foose to redesign my car.  To take it and do whatever he wants with it.  I’m sure he charges a TON of money to do his thing… money which I don’t have, but I’ve got to try at least!  Right?  You’ll never know unless you try.

I’ve got a silver 1997 Honda Prelude.  I’ve done nothing to it, but I’ve kept it in very good condition.  It’s a great car, drives and handles well.  I’d just love to make it unique.

So… Chip!  If you hear about this, I’d love to talk with you!

You are now exiting Chris’ dream world.  Thank you for visiting.  Buhbye now!

12/20/03:  I just noticed that this post is the third result one will see when doing a search for Chip Foose on Google.  Perhaps Chip will see this and consider redoing my car?!?

Hi I’m from argentina.
I have a 1975 IKA Torino, it is a pininfarina’s redesign of the 1965
Rambler 440, or Rambler Rogue. It’s was one of the most popular cars here in the 70s, there were also the Ford Falcon, the Chevy Nova and the Dodge GTX.
IT IS ONE OF MY DREAMS TO KNOW CHIP FOOSE, AND SOME OF HIS CUSTOMIZED MODELS, I WISH I COULD GO TO USA!!!!
IT ‘S COMPLETELY BEYOND OF MY IMAGINATION TO THINK ABOUT MY CAR REDESIGNED BY THE MAN….CHIP FOOSE!!!

If anybody is thinking about an INTERNATIONAL OVERHAULIN, please let me know….

I think a 1968 cougar would be a challenge for anyone to overhaul. Do you want to try mine? My daughter asked if she could call you to over haul it for us, she is 11 and ready to drive it.

HI Chip, my husband has a73 ford pickup, this truck belonged to a little guy my husband knew when he was growing up adn he always told the little guy he wanted the truck so when this friend passed away they contacted my husband and said the truck was his if he wanted it. the thatdied had told his kids to be sure and follow through with his deal .Since then he has tried to get the truck back up to how it used to be but problems with his parents being ill and passing and our daughters wedding and now his sister with a deadly cancer has kept us broke . My husband never complains and i would love to be able to just take it and have it restored for him.He drives it to work almost on a daily basis we live in a very rule part of ariz. W e are 50miles west of flagstaff az. so he leaves home for work at 10:30pm every nite he hauls fuel and runs all nite but still finds timme to help eveybody else out.We go to the fun run every year and when I see the look on his face of if only this hadnt happened I might of got my truck done.Even through the look is ther e he wont say a word about what he has sacrificed but someone like him that looks after others first should be able to have the one thing hes wanted since he was 16 years old and made the deal with the friend who he also helped out years ago. HE ALWAYS says i will probably pass and still not ever be able to afford to get it done. I understand we all have dreams, but I just keep dreaming this for him most people would say its only a truck its a material thing but not to him. HIs friend is still apart of that truck and thats why its so special to him. Well thanks for letting me express myself and my feelings.Oh 1 more thing he really thinks your the best and he says you are amazing in the work you do and bring the cars to live.

Mr Foose, I have a ‘48 Ford pu that is real wild looking. I am not trying to get on your show, I just need your help with my idea for the front end. I have reversed the bed, shortend it 21” rounded the back and put 199 louvers on it. I cut the top off, and chopped the windsheld 5”, and suicided the doors using the stock hinges. I used a mail jeep roof for a tonneau cover. I want to take 4 more rear fenders, and weld 2 and 2 together and recut them to fit like the orig. front end with ‘37 Ford headlights put in the fenders, and a cut down ‘37 car grill. I love the body line and shape of the 48 to 52 Ford pu rear fenders, that’s why I want to incorperate them into the front as well. Chip you are the BADEST of the BAD and I really need your thoughts on this one PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ? And I do LOVE your show. I can e-mail you pictures if you want me to, so you can see what I’m talking about.

Thanks again for at least reading this if you ever get time.

We have a 1973 Challenger that we are trying to fix up it has no rust on it. It came from down south and Brad my husband would love it if Chip Foose would redo this car. It would be so awesome to see this done. Brad is a great fan off yours. He is a painter too but Chips work is unbelievable. He would consider this a great hhonour if he fixed this car.

Soon Brad will be turning 44 in December would be a nice gift.

Thanks Sharon

Dear Foose;
My name is Diana and I have seen your passion for cars and I envy your skills. I could only wish that I had that kind of talent. I have the passion just not the funds or time.

I am a single mother of 2 with a passion for custom cars. I have a 54 Mercury Monterey that I have been trying to finish since my divorce. But between two jobs, the kids and now school I am running out of time and money. I have always had classic cars, one of which was my pride and joy; a 63 Impala that my ex sold on me before he left us. I put so much hard work into that car only to have him sell it and take off. It really hurt, so I sold my wedding ring and bought a 54 Mercury that is my new love. I try to work on it as much as I can, but there are not enough hours in the day or money to get the car done. He is a dead beat dad and doesn’t even deserve us, and I would like to put that in the past and move on. I dream of having the car done so that I can continue with our lives and focus on bettering our situation. I have done some work on it but it still needs a lot to go and I am afraid of loosing it. It has been chopped 3” nosed and decked, primer gray with 1.5” white walls and the original engine. I was able to get the car running, but I have no windows. I know I have a lot to learn but I am not afraid to try. Your wife is a VERY LUCKY woman to have a man like you around. If you ever want to take a look at my car and at least give me some pointers or suggestions on how I can finish, I would be the happiest girl in town. I know my chances of getting on your show are as slim as me winning the lotto, but if you have some time..even if it’s just a few words of encouragement, please throw me a line and fill me with your knowledge.

Thanks
Diana

My husband of a little over a year gave me a car back in October of last year for his Birthday. This car was his prize, He had saved the money to get the car painted. He always took care of the car. He had talked to the people and two days before his Birthday he had a stroke in 2001 A few days after that his Father passed a-way. All the money he had saved wen’t on ramps, getting things ready for him to come home. This is something that would brighten his life. He is the best person I have in my life if I could get this 1988 Mazda 929 looking like it did when it come off the lot it would be a wonderful car to make the rest of our lives even better.

Thank You, Tamara
