css Zen Garden

Dave Shea has created a site that demonstrates the capabilities of CSS.  He calls it css Zen Garden.  The designs he demonstrates are all very artistic and truly show the great things you can do with CSS.  The site’s goal is to inspire Web designers, not just programmers, to start using CSS in all their sites.  I know I feel inspired after seeing his examples.

Earlier today I added a few little visual feedback items in my business site, Mantis Design.  The site is made using XHTML, PHP and CSS.  I’m still not 100% happy with the design.  It’s amazingly simple and needs to be improved a bit.  I like simple design better than complex design, but the site is missing something.  I’ll keep hammering at it until I get it right.

I’m very excited about the project as I just finished a design theme for csszengarden.com.
You can have a look at it here.
