De Queen Supports Our Troops

I wished I would’ve known that there was a rally today before I left home this afternoon so I could’ve taken my camera. Today when I went into De Queen, I noticed there were a TON of flags flying all over the place. A little further down the road, and I saw a few hundred people in a parking lot. The national guard was there with some Humvees, a deuce and a half and a Huey helicopter. I would’ve liked to have seen it land. The De Queen fire department was there as was the mayor. The rally was going to start 30 minutes later, but I had to go to another town so I missed it.
A few hundred people may not sound like a lot, but considering how big De Queen is, it was quite a few. Hopefully the local paper will have it on their Web site tomorrow. If they do, I’ll link to it.
