Ethical Philosophy Selector

I found this little philosophy test through syaffolee.  It asks you several questions and then gives you an idea of which philosophers are closest to your view points.  From there, you can click on the person’s name and find more information about what they believed, find links to books on the person as well as other Web pages with more information.  Very interesting.  I don’t agree completely with Aquinas, but if you put all the top 5 together, it comes a little closer.  Below are my results:

1. Aquinas (100%)
2. Mill (97%)
3. Augustine (95%)
4. Bentham (86%)
5. Kant (84%)
6. Epicureans (81%)
7. Spinoza (81%)
8. Aristotle (76%)
9. Ockham (60%)
10. Rand (55%)
11. Cynics (52%)
12. Hume (52%)
13. Sartre (52%)
14. Prescriptivism (47%)
15. Stoics (47%)
16. Nietzsche (45%)
17. Plato (43%)
18. Noddings (38%)
19. Hobbes (31%)
