Everybody Just Shut Up!

There is an article called Just Shut Up over at thestranger.com. The gist of it is to tell everyone on both sides of the war debate to shut up! I found myself laughing pretty hard, because what the author points out is pretty much true. I think it’s important for people to share their REASONED opinions and also for CONSTRUCTIVE debate, but that has rarely happened on this issue. For those who are open-minded, rational, reasonable debators on BOTH sides, I commend you. To all the others who just spout their drivel and run… shut up!
OOOOOKKKKKK… I’m sure Saddam will change his ways and convert to Christianity after hearing her speak. This is exactly what the author is writing about. Totally useless attempts at bringing peace. And where were these people BEFORE the US and UK started pushing for removal of Saddam? Ooops… I’m ranting again. I’ll shut up now.
