ExpressionEngine 1.2.1 Released

pMachine has released ExpressionEngine 1.2.1 today.  It has many bug improvements and a few new features, one of them being the new plugin manager I wrote a few weeks back.  It’s funny how nervous you get before one of your creations is released to the world, open for criticism or praise.  Of course, my plugin manager is a tiny fraction of EE, but I’m nervous nonetheless.

I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks.  I’ve been using 1.2.1 for a while now, and it’s easily the best version yet.

Congrats on getting your plugin manager into EE 1.2.1. It looked really cool and I was about to ask you when you might release it, but now I have my answer wink

Yeah. When I posted about it last time, I already knew it was going to be included in 1.2.1, I just didn’t say anything about it. I wanted to make sure it was up to Rick’s and Paul’s standards before I blabbed about it.

“it’s easily the best version yet.”

Well, darn! Our goal was to make it the worst version, yet. grin

Must work harder!

Congratulations on the plugin manager, looks great in the new version. Now all we need is more plugins to choose from!

Does Rick know about this?

Thanks, Mark. Yeah, more plugins would be great, but more modules would be better. I would like to see the EE developer community grow. It seems like there’s not very many people working on plugins/modules though. I think Paul scares them.

Rick knows very little of what goes on when I code.

I scare people? Hm, I wonder why that is.
