Free iPods?

I remember seeing a couple months back a big deal about people signing up to get a free iPod from a place called FreeiPods.com (clicking on the link will notify them I’m the referrer).  Supposedly, if five people sign up for one of their partners’ trial services, then you’re supposed to get an iPod.

I’ve heard of people really getting iPods from this place, but I don’t know if they’re the exception or what.  I signed up to see if I could get a free iPod.  What the hell, right?

So feel free to sign up to try and get your free iPod.  I ended up signing for the Blockbuster Online movie rental service.  It was something I was already thinking about signing up for anyway.

Some other services they offer are trials from the Video Professor (you know the guy… “Try my product."), BMG Music Service, Infone, MyInks, GM Card, Ancestry.com (I almost signed up for this one), NetZero, eFax and Columbia House DVD.

Hi Chris,

i’m supposed to be receiving my free ipod any day now. My order status says “sent to vendor, waiting for product.” It took me 3 months to go through this process, but supposedly it works.

I’ll be sure to let you know if I actually get a free ipod out of this.
