Fuji Finepix 4700z

You’re looking at the proud owner of a new digital camera.  I just bought a Fuji Finepix 4700z on eBay.  It’s the first thing I’ve ever bid for on eBay, amazingly.  I was surprised at the price I got it for.  It’s valued anywhere between $340-$500 depending on where you buy it from, and I bought it for $345 with insured shipping.  Brand new, never been opened, 1 year warranty, etc.

It says 4.3M image, but it’s actually 2.4M pixels.  It has what Fuji calls a SuperCCD, which is supposed to take pictures as good as a 3M camera.  I did some research on it, and it has very high marks for design and functionality.  It has average reviews for print image quality, but since I will only be using my camera for the Web, it’s more than enough.  In fact, the review I read said that it’s an outstanding camera for Web pictures.

I should be getting it in about 1 week.  Overall, I’m happy to finally have a digital camera.
