Goodbye to 2014

Goodbye, 2014. This year has overall been a good year. There were parts that I’d like to forget, but thankfully those were the exception.

There was a bad lull work-wise for a long spell the first half of the year, but that was mostly made up for by the latter half. In particular it was made better by one of my favorite projects to date, Automobility. It was the first major project I’ve worked on that didn’t involve ExpressionEngine in a very, very long time. It was also mostly JavaScript which is now my favorite language to work with.

I went on a lot of dates this year, and made a good friend from it, but unfortunately love is still something I can’t seem to find. I’m still hopeful it’ll happen, but I’m not going to stress over it any more.

Trips were taken to Big Bend, South Padre Island, and Puerto Rico. Lots of great memories were made. Hiking to mountain peaks and deep canyons, snorkeling with sea turtles and jellyfish, relaxing on gorgeous beaches, and relaxing in hot springs on the Mexican border.

Yep, this year has been really good. I’m going to try and make 2015 even better.
