Gun Control vs. Gun Ownership

Rachel Lucas has a very interesting thread going on about freedom and gun control. She pastes a lengthy essay from a Mr. Whittle who does a great job of explaining why gun ownership is such deep rooted issue in the US. And also does a great job of bashing “intellectuals” worldwide who see American gun owners as dim-witted hillbillies. It’s lengthy, but well worth the read.
