Happy Accidents

I just finished watching an excellent movie called Happy Accidents. There was nothing on TV, so I decided to flip it to the Independent Film Channel and caught the very beginning of the film. It stars Marisa Tomei (who I really like, which is why I kept it on) and Vincent D’Onofrio.
I won’t go into details, but the movie is certainly worth checking out. It’s a romantic sci-fi. I know… it sounds stupid, but it’s not. I didn’t have any expectations for it, but it turned out to be a VERY good movie. Not too many movies can get your attention and hold them for the entire length of the film. This one did, and had me guessing the whole time. I was completely caught up in the story, trying to figure things out until the very end. I love that I couldn’t figure it out until then. Both Marisa and Vincent turn in excellent performances, and make the movie that much more enjoyable.
So if you get a chance to rent or buy the movie, I would very much recommend it.
I did happen to catch about 3 minutes of this movie towards the end last night. I was just surfing through channels until a documentary on Rudolph Hess I wanted to watch started.
