Hillsdale College July 2002 Imprimis

Hillsdale College is a comparitavely small public college located in Michigan. But it has a beautiful campus, a great staff and is one of the few colleges remaining that doesn’t accept federal funding (because of all the strings attached).
They have a little publication called Imprimis. There are printed versions of speeches given to classes of Hillsdale in each issue. I had never heard of it until today. My dad gets the printed version in the mail, and has been since I was 5.
There were only two articles in this issue, but both were absolutely inspiring, educational, entertaining and true. One was given by Pat Sajak and the other by Mark Helprin. Mark’s speech, in particular, was truly inspiring. His beliefs and viewpoints appear to be similar to mine in many ways.
I love Imprimis also, been getting it for about 2 years now. You don’t mention this, but it’s free for anyone who wants to sign up for it. I highly recommend it.
