Hot Chassis

Well, the above picture is a small project I did for a local racing team called Hot Chassis. They are about to enter a race in a few weeks, and wanted to make a team t-shirt. They had a picture of a beautiful woman from a calendar they liked. And they also had a picture of their race car. So they asked me to take the woman and make it look like she was standing next to their car. In the original pic of the woman, she was standing next to a Mustang.
I took their race car pic and got rid of the parking stripes, some trees and poles, and messed with the saturation and contrast. Then I cut the woman out of her pic and scaled her to fit next the car. I added some shadows and reflections of her in the chrome. I added some backlighting to her hair because the sun would’ve been reflecting off the chrome in the car pic. I think it turned out pretty good, and they like it a lot. I could’ve done some more tinkering, but it’s only a small job, and they are happy with it.
Hiya chris … thanx for the get-back. I did finally find that site I was looking for. The company is called HotSeat Cassis Inc and the gaming outfit is called the HotSeat RACER. Its a pretty neat set-up although a bit on the pricy side. Hmmmm …. I was told by a friend to check out a site called hotchassis.inc to check out a setup for play station racing games. In particular, gran turismo and nascar. He was saying it was a collapsable unit with a seat, the steering wheel, pedles, the whole nine yards he says. I’m not having any luck with that, and as this is as close as i’ve gotten i figure I’d ask if you know what and where i’m talking about. I’d apreciate it if you could get back to me with any information that might help me with my search.
