How NOT To Hack

I got a good laugh out of this earlier today. It seems there was a German “hacker” called bitchchecker who was bragging about how good he was in a chat room. He got his panties in a wad because he thought he had been banned from the channel, when he had only timed out.
So he starts threatening the moderator of the channel, asking him for his IP address. The moderator tells him that his IP address is 127.0.0.1 and the moron believes him! I’m not even close to a hacker and yet I know that IP address will always point to your own computer.
So this awesome “hacker” proceeds to whip out his amazing arsenal of hacking tools and ends up crashing his own computer not once, but twice! It still doesn’t dawn on him what’s happening so he brings out his hard drive deleting virus! *GASP* He unleashes the virus and begins bragging about how it’s destroying all the different drives.

And that was the last they heard from him!
Very funny. It’s also a story that give me a warm fussy feeling.
