Islam, a Peaceful Religion?

I’m getting sick of hearing that Islam is a peaceful, tolerant religion. That’s about as accurate as me saying the French are world-class fighters. Which religion calls for a new jihad at the drop of a hat, over stupid, trivial things? Which religion supports killing innocent people in order to spread fear into a populace? Which religion thinks dressing up its kids as suicide bombers is a funny, cute thing? Which religion jails, tortures, even kills people for speaking out against a leader? Which religion beats women when they show a little ankle? Which religion so completely brainwashes its people that they think every single one of their problems is either the Jews’ or Americans’ fault?
The latest exhibition of love and tolerance from the Muslims is in Nigeria where 50 people were killed because a newspaper article said the founder of Islam might have chosen a wife from among the Miss World competition if he were alive today. And don’t start saying that they’re oppressed by the Western world and misunderstood. That may be true in one or two places (although I seriously doubt it), but Muslims are NOT globally oppressed by the Western world. It’s their own amazingly anal freaks of leaders that are doing the oppression. I’m sure some of my readers just cringed at my comments, but it’s true!
To prove my point, I’m going to start keeping tabs on all the “tolerance and love” the Muslim religion is spreading around the world in the next several weeks. Some morons will argue that the US is no better because we’re “bullying” the UN and Iraq. If making spineless, caniving weasels in the UN do their DUTY is bullying, then I confess, we did so. If removing weapons of mass destruction from a maniacal dictator is a bad thing, then we are VERY bad bullies. Sometimes I go into shock at the absolute stupidity of liberals. EVERYTHING is soooooo complex, sooooo deep. The only thing deep in the whacked liberal camp is the #$&* all over the place.
