Islamic freedoms?

Here’s a great example of the “freedoms” that Islam allows for its followers.

According to the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, any Islamic newspapers who even suggest talking with the US about terrorism are considered “weaklings...who do not know the first things about diplomacy and national pride.” And if that’s not bad enough, they will be committing a crime now that the Khamenei has outlawed any articles related to the topic.

The Khamenei also said, “Publishing materials contrary to top-level decisions will disturb public opinion and weaken the Islamic system.” Or in other words, we want to brainwash all of our citizens into thinking the Americans are Satan incarnate and if you publish your stories, then people will realize we’re wrong and we’ll lose control.

Here’s something else to think about.  If Islam is such a peaceful religion, then how come the vast majority of wars or skirmishes in the world right now involve Muslims?  Just about every day there are suicide bombers in Israel, mob fights in Kashmir, kidnappings in Indonesia, etc.  And the Muslim nations say and do NOTHING to condemn this.  NOTHING.  In fact, they encourage it.  They even pay you to do it.  Nothing like paying a teenage suicide bomber to go and kill him/herself and a few innocent bystanders to bring peace and prosperity to a place, huh?  It’s worked so many times before in history, right?

Hopefully people will see that men like Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, represent Islam about as accurately as men like Jim Jones, David Koresh, and Jerry Falwell represent Christianity.
