It’s been a very long time since I’ve done anything under the hood for this site, and even longer since I’ve redesigned it. I took a look at my existing code and cringed. I don’t know what I was thinking on some of it. Plus, I’d like to switch the site over to jQuery instead of the mish-mash of JavaScript it’s got now.
The problem is I’m not motivated for the design part, just the converting and JS parts. I think the designer in me has fallen by the wayside sometime long past, and the programmer has taken over. I’m not sure how I can motivate myself again for the design part.
What I use to motivate myself (at least with my current project) is to force myself into start working, pretty much. This works well for me, as it forces the designing and creativity to come out as graphics, HTML and CSS, in some weird way or another :D .
BTW, have you blacklisted douglasstridsberg dot com ?
