iTunes - 100 Million Songs

Apple will be celebrating the approach to selling their 100 millionth song through the iTunes Store by giving away 50 iPods, a 17” Powerbook and a 10,000 song gift certificate.

Starting at 95 million, Apple will give away a special 20GB iPod every 100,000 songs. The person who buys the 100 millionth song wins a 40GB iPod, a 17” Powerbook and a 10,000 song gift certificate! You don’t have to buy a song to enter either. A free alternative way to enter is to click the Tell a Friend email link on a song and send the email to itunes100@apple.com.

I got in before they reached 95 million tonight and bought several songs. A few from Jimi Hendrix, Maroon5 and Jamiroquai. The Jamiroquai song is called Twenty Zero One and it is one seriously cool song. You can’t help but move to it.
