I’ve Got the Redesign Bug… Again!

I hate to admit it, but I’m already feeling the urge to redesign my site again. The current design is nice, but it’s never really sat right with me. It feels like it’s missing something… I think. I don’t know really. Maybe it’s fine, but the designer/programmer in me wants to have something new?
The site feels a little disjointed, incomplete and rough in areas. I have some ideas as to what I would like, but no specific design in mind yet. Right now I’m so swamped with other work, I don’t think I’ll be able to put any time towards it for at least another few weeks.
10/17: I’ve been putting some time towards the new design this weekend, and it’s really coming along nicely. I’m spending a lot more time on this design than I have on my previous ones, and it’s showing. Everything feels tighter, cleaner. I’ve already got a new feature enabled for the new design that’s going to come in handy. It’s called LiveSearch, and it’s kind of like Apple’s forthcoming Spotlight feature, but for your Web site. There are some others who have implemented it already. Garrett at Maniacal Rage has put his together nicely. I’ll post more on the design as it nears completion.
I just redesigned my site for the impending halloween holiday. In other words turned everything orange and black. Not terribley creative, but like you I am swamped with work.
I have the intention of a full redesign, but I have a lot to figure out on the site first.
I like this layout, the content section I would probably do a little wider, but that is just my preference.
