King Abdullah II on Islam

King Abdullah II of Jordan has written an article about the true voice of Islam. It’s great to see prominent Muslims like King Abdullah doing this, but it still leaves a few questions in my mind.
Namely, if the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful, then why do they HATE the Jews and Americans? It’s all I see and read about in the Middle East. And I don’t read American papers and sites only. Why are there so many edicts by Muslim religious leaders condemning Israel or the US for this or that? Why does there seem to be endless bombings and killing mobs all over the world, all of which are led by Muslims? Why is it that just about every Muslim country is in conflict with a neighboring one or has major internal strife?
