Cleaner, leaner code in my Web site. I thought it wasn’t possible, but of course, Zeldman showed me I was oh so wrong. In fact, after reading more of his book, Designing With Web Standards, I realized I had quite a bit of cleaning to do. I had more <div> tags and CSS classes than I needed. My skills table in my resume had attributes it didn’t need.
I’m finally beginning to see, to really see, the potential of CSS and XHTML, and I’m quite excited about it. This is what Web development should’ve been like back in ‘96 when I made my first site.
