Liberal intellectualism run amuck

Here’s a great example of liberal intellectualism run amuck.  The arrogance of this writer is astonishing.  He actually says, ” You see, America is fundamentally anti-intellectual.”  Or in other words, Americans are afraid of smart people, or we’re dumb and we feel threatened by a smart president.  We get scared if somebody smart is in the driver’s seat, but feel ok if there’s an idiot there.  That’s why Carter was such a failure as a president, the author states.  He was a nuclear physicist.  <SARCASM>Of course, we ALL know that any nuclear physicist would be perfect as a president.</SARCASM>

But to the “enlightened”, such as the author, they don’t really mind an idiot in the president’s chair because then the country runs smoothly!  WTF!  I’m sorry, but this writer is an asshole.  Pardon my French.
