The above photo is the best photo of the lunar eclipse I could get last night. I have a little Fujifilm point-and-shoot which does good for regular pics, but sucks it big time when it comes to anything out of the ordinary. I’d love to get a nice SLR, but that’s nowhere near the top of my priority list.
I was lucky to even get the above shot since it was cloudy here, and I had only a couple minute window to setup my camera on a mini-tripod and try to find the moon in the tiny little screen on my camera. On top of that, my dogs thought I was lying on the ground so I could play with them, so they were wallowing all over me and licking my face while I’m trying to hurry up.
The eclipse was neat, but nothing compared to the solar eclipse I saw in Germany several years back. That was amazing.
