If you grew up in the 80’s playing Nintendo and especially any of the Mario Brothers games, then you’ve got to check out the Flash animations made by Alex Leon.
Part 1 sets the stage for what’s to come. It’s well done. It’s kind of funny, actually. It’s just crappy, 80’s Nintendo sprites moving around, but you actually find yourself cheering on Mario and Luigi.
Part 2 brings us to the castle of the princess and their valiant but futile attempt at repelling the invading koopa army.
Part 3 shows Mario arriving at the ransacked castle and finding the princess missing. It’s also very well done and a little longer than the previous two parts.
All are quite well done and are worth checking out, just for the nostalgia alone. I find that I’m actually looking forward to part 4!
That’s pretty cool. I’ve only watch part of part 1, but I think i’ll have to watch the rest! I loved the original Mario Brothers on Nintendo! If I had a nintendo still, i’d play it for sure.
Only at DeviantArt. LOL that’s great. love DA.
