Yesterday, I went out to our barn to help my father and grandfather load a bunch of rocks onto my grandfather’s truck. While I was out there, I noticed a weird looking flower I had never seen before. My dad and my grandfather had never seen it before either. I took a picture of it, and then went to our wildlife book to find out what it’s called. It turns out to be a Maypop, and it’s not too common around here. It’s definitely one of the weirdest flowers I’ve seen here.
