Oh please… Bush was arrested for vandalism and theft in college. What fratboy didn’t do a stupid thing or two in college?
His drunk driving charge was back in the mid 70’s, when he had a drinking problem. Big deal. Have you ever known someone with a real drinking problem? They will NOT admit they have a problem. They’re ashamed of it and try to cover it up, when everyone else knows they have a problem. So Bush got caught drunk almost 30 years ago and didn’t tell the press. So what?

so what? shouldn’t the president be a role model for our kids and not a lying drunken theif? do republicans let just any convict run for office? manson was arrested 30 years ago will he be bush’s running mate, jeez, all we heard for 8 years was how crooked the clintons were and now we find out bush is convicted theif, bush is a convicted drunk, when will he admit he has a problem? michael moore speaks the truth and bush lies and you guys are upset at m moore?
You ask ‘shouldn’t the president be a role model for our kids?’ Then right after that, you try to make Clinton out to be an abused and misunderstood president. Here’s the difference:
Clinton got it on with an intern multiple times in the Oval Office while he was married. That’s a great role model for our kids! Bush was a fratboy and had a drinking problem long before he was ever president. One did the crap while he was president, the other long before.
Convicted thief makes it sound like he was some badass criminal. He was a fratboy who got caught doing something stupid. I’ve known a couple of those myself. They’re not hard criminals who would as soon kill your mother as look at you. They were young, made a bad decision and got caught. Enough said.
Your Manson statement is completely off-the-wall. There’s no comparison between Bush and Manson.
Bush already admitted he had a drinking problem before and that he’s kicked the habit. Why keep whipping someone for a habit they’ve already kicked unless you have a vendetta against the person?
Moore speaks the truth? LOL! That’s a good one! Never mind that both liberals and conservatives have said Moore has lied in his movie. Never mind that Moore is a master at taking half-truths and statements out of context and making it look like something else.
And by the way, I’m not a Republican. I’m an Independent. I’ve never voted straight ticket ever. In fact, I voted for more Dems than Republicans in the last election. So don’t sit there and try to label me a Republican because I disagree with you. Typical knee-jerk reaction from liberals.

bush is a convicted theif while clinton has never been charged with a crime, bush is a convicted drunk while clinton has never been charged with a crime, laura b has killed someone while hillary has never killed anyone, big difference between the two, i would say. i am not a democrat, i will always vote for the best person running for office, but that man is not bush.

Clinton hasn’t been convicted because he is quick to settle out of court. He’s done it multiple times. He’s been charged on just about anything you can think of. His list of shady associates who have gone to jail is a mile long.
Clinton lied under oath in federal court. He lied in a deposition and was fined for it. Because of that, disbarment proceedings were started, but once again Bill squeaked out of it by surrendering his law license before he could be disbarred.
Laura Bush ran a stop sign and killed her boyfriend. Neither her or her boyfriend were drinking. That was a bad intersection that had seen other deaths many times before this one. I’ve read foaming-at-the-mouth rants from others who say Laura waited for her boyfriend to drive by. The only problem with that is nothing even remotely close to it is in the police report. No charges were ever filed against her. So keep believing the loony cover-up conspiricies if you want about her.

everytime i ask someone if they would vote for a convicted drunk or a convicted theif for president every answer i get is ‘NO’, untill i say the convicted theif and drunk is bush then i get all kinds of excuses why he shouldn’t be held accountable for his actions, my favorite excuse is the one that says all college students are theives.

you can’t settle criminal charges out of court. bush has lied on college and job applications by stating he has never been arrested. i never said laura b was drinking, just that she killed her ex boyfriend. bush lied about iraq so many times he believes his own lies, which caused americans to die, how many americans died because clinton denied he had an affair?

i never said anything about a conspiracy with laura b, why did you? also , can you tell me on what criminal charge clinton was ever arrested on, i think you’re lying on that point where you said ’ he’s been charged…’ if you’re charged with a crime you go to court and get convicted or you’re found innocent. are you lying about clinton being charged with a crime?

I never said all college students are thieves. I said it’s not uncommon for fratboys to do stupid things and get caught. I know a couple who also got arrested and convicted, but they’re fine people now. They did stupid pranks and got caught. Big deal. You keep harping on this convicted bit like he’s some lifetime criminal who served hard time and somehow managed to make it into office. That’s stupid and frankly a little childish to keep harping on it.
You’re right about settling criminal charges out of court. I’m not up on the legal terms. What I meant was criminal accusations and investigations.
Laura accidentally killing her boyfriend in a horrible car wreck is not something any decent person wants to dangle over her head. If you’re not believing the loony theories on that wreck, then why bring it up at all?
Bush didn’t lie. He made a decision based on faulty intelligence. And it was intelligence not only from the CIA, but from MI6, Russia and others as well. Several international intelligence agencies all said Saddam had WMDs. There was no reason to believe he didn’t have WMDs. He had possessed and used them before. He had recently kicked out UN inspectors. So going with all that, it was not a lie.
Clinton was charged with perjury, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and abuse of authority in the Paula Jones case. That would be a court case, would it not?

no, clinton has NEVER been charged with a crime, he has NEVER been convicted of a crime, false accusations and phony investigations has never made one guily of any crime, i repeat, bush is a convicted theif and a convicted drunk while the clintons have NEVER even been charged or arrested for ANY crime. bush didn’t lie? wow.

No, Bush didn’t lie. The 9/11 report (you did read it or at least it’s summary, right?), the Lord Butler report, Russian intelligence and the Senate Intelligence Committee all have said Bush didn’t lie. Keep believing Moore’s propaganda if you want.

driving drunk is a minor crime? tell that to all the families who’ve had family members killed by drunk drivers. theft is a minor crime? tell that to all the people in prison for theft. killing your ex boyfriend is a minor thing not worthy of criminal charges? wow, i won’t even go into the domestic battery scene here.

Greg, you’ve proven beyond a doubt only one thing. That you don’t know when to give up. I just told you you’re never going to convince me Bush is some bad criminal who shouldn’t be in office, yet you keep pushing it. And worse, you try to put some kind of guilt trip on me, making it look like I don’t care about people getting killed by drunk drivers and such. It’s people like you that are ruining civil public debate. You can’t win on facts, so you try to go for guilt. Really classy, Greg.
It’s a common tactic for those who have no real argument and only a few pre-learned lines. When your lines don’t work, you become as obnoxious as possible, try making the other person feel guilty (it’s called baiting, and Moore is good at that too), disrespect the other person, post multiple times even though I asked you not to, etc.
You’ve had your say, several times now, since you can’t seem to come up with anything else. Like I said, Moore the entertainer says one thing, liberals and conservatives in the know say something else. Keep believing Moore’s lies, which you obviously enjoy.
I’m not sure what it is, but people who defend Moore’s views are all the same, at least so far on my site. They say the same things over and over without proof. The perfect Michael Moore said it, so it must be true. Forget researching things on your own. Damn the facts. Moore said it, so it’s true.

Somehow I knew you’d respond, dodging everything put forward in those articles. And a great fifth grade response too. Anyone who is intellectually honest would admit Moore is a master at distorting facts and lying.
The poop is Moore and the lie that Bush lied.
You only went to ONE of the sites? Couldn’t be bothered to read the rest? Was it too scary to see all the people tearing apart Moore’s lies left and right?
You couldn’t find Moore lies that ‘equal’ Bush’s ‘lie’? (Does that mean you admit Moore lied?) Now who is making excuses? Greg, that’s called selective reading and moral equivalence. All of those sites show how Moore distorts reality to paint a picture he wants poor saps to see and believe. And then there’s the flat out lies from Moore littered throughout those articles.
But in your mind, nevermind that there’s several dozen lies and distortions from Moore laid out clearly by both liberals and conservatives. None equal Bush’s lie. (Notice the dozens vs. the one?) You’re squirming, Greg.
I know it may take more than a couple minutes, but you really need to take the time to read all those articles.

bush doesn’t lie? here’s one is just saw for myself on tv, bush is introducing some lady and he says’she’s a west texas girl just like me’ well, i don’t think bush is a west texas girl, in fact, i don’t think he’s a girl at all, so either 1) bush is a liar because he’s not a west texas girl or 2) bush thinks he is a west texas girl or 3) bush is totally ignorant, which is it? he’s a liar? he thinks he’s a girl? or he’s just plain stupid?
I think the way Moore seized the opportunity to tell the world his opnion was absolutely perfect! And than the orchestra that – in vain – tried to cut of his voice: they couldn’t have done better! Chris, you have to admit: the way US media are censoring the news is absolutely astonishing! Our reporters in NY are chocked by the way your government is telling the newspapers and stations what they can say and what not!
