If this actually becomes a reality, Microsoft would become not just a 600 lb gorilla, but a 2000 ton Godzilla. This would be a crime against just about every other company in the entire world. Every one would have to work with Microsoft in order to be a part of the future Internet. The whole beauty of the Internet is that it’s open… no one owns it. But if Microsoft has its way (which it usually does, since the US government doesn’t have the backbone to break it apart), then it’s no longer the Internet. It will be MSNet. NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
