This has got to be one of the most IDIOTIC ideas I’ve ever heard of. In West Palm Beach, Florida (what’s with Florida and controversial topics?), they’ve adopted a new grading scale on their final exam. It’s a 100 question MULTIPLE-CHOICE test, and in order to pass, you need to only answer 23 questions correctly!!! 23!!!!!! You can go down the list and mark “A” as the answer on every single question and pass!!!!! In fact, you’d have to have extraordinarily BAD luck in order to fail! In order to get an A, you need to get 50 or more correct.
Who in the world would accept this, besides the boneheads in West Palm Beach?! How in the world will that help students in the long run?! There should be a law against imbiciles in school leadership positions.
