A long, lost cousin got in contact with me the other day. His name is Clark Ruzin, and he’s the soon to be 16 year old son of Rick Ruzin, my dad’s cousin. He sent me the above picture of my grandfather’s gravestone at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
The picture was not only nice, it was helpful. It confirmed to us that he was in the 46th Armored Infantry Battalion. In my earlier post about him, I had found that picture of a group of men in the 46th, and one of them looked just like Henry. We couldn’t be sure it was him though, because we didn’t know which battalion he was a part of in the 5th Armored Division.
My dad has talked to both of them. And im not too sure on the marine biologist, I know that I saw his name in an IMAX movie one time though, and my dad said something about him. I dont have the skills or money to make a website worth letting people see. But once I get some free time I like to dabble in it a little bit.
I was just at that cemetery today. What a coincidence.
Anyway, I was going to send you a copy of that headstone a while back, but never got around to it. Did he also send you a picture of our grandmother’s grave? She is right next to his.
