More XWEBS Info

It seems there are some doubters among the übergeeks about the XWEBS browser’s speed.  The young programmer behind the application won’t release all the source code because he’s considering patenting parts of it.  One of Intel’s chief techs in Ireland said the potential is there and Osmani’s idea seems unique.

His code takes advantage of the features of a particular type of server used widely on the Internet.  The article won’t say what kind of server.  The browser handles multiple requests for information, so instead of a single stream of information, several streams are processed simultaneously allowing for quicker page loading.
