My 2 Cents on the Super Bowl

I figured the Bucs would win it, but I didn’t expect them to tear the Raiders a new one. The game itself wasn’t that impressive. It was ok, but it just didn’t seem like the Raiders were there to play. I wished it would’ve been more suspenseful. The Bucs were walking away with this one from almost the get go.
The half-time shows have become a nuisance now. We just muted the TV and got up to get something to snack on. I’m sure the majority of everyone else did as well. Shania is looking pretty lame these days. I don’t know what the deal was with the 70’s disco ball bra. And could she have pushed up her boobs a little more? I don’t think so. It looked painful. “Bon Bon” Jovi was lame at the end. Why did they throw him in there? No one cared about him. Show us the trophy presentations!
I also can’t remember a Super Bowl with more lame ads. There were maybe 4 decent ads, and the rest just plain sucked. The Ram pickup ad was completely moronic. The Willie Nelson ad was pretty funny. The best ad, in my opinion, was the Reebok ad. The “office productivity” guy was hilarious! Some of those tackles looked harsh! And on women too! A few of the Bud ads were good too. The “mother & daughter” one was funny. The ads that really stuck out to me were the movie ones. I almost started salivating when they showed The Matrix Reloaded. The Hulk and Terminator 3 look good. I don’t like Ben Affleck’s acting, so I’m not into Daredevil that much. Overall though, the ads were a complete letdown. It just reflects the complete lack of creativity in the ad world now.
To me, this game just didn’t feel like the Super Bowl at all. Lame ads, lame game. I hope it’s better next year.
