I was in the newspaper again today. The editor has his own column that comes out once a week, and he was talking about the Web and all it has to offer. Then he went into their new site and mentioned how it was a pleasure to work with me. He said I was professional, knowledgable and resourceful. And then told everyone to get in touch with me if they needed Web work done. I was honored. Plus, I got more free advertising!
Last night wasn’t a good one for me. I caught some kind of stomach bug and couldn’t sleep worth crap because it was so painful. Sometimes it was so bad it felt like I was being stabbed in the gut. I think I ended up only getting about 3 or 4 hours of sleep. I was still feeling bad up until about 1 pm today. But I’m definitely feeling a lot better now.
Also, the other night while I was doing a delivery, I had the car window down. A truck was going the other direction, and as it passed, it sent a small rock through the open window and straight into the side of my head! I say it was small, but it felt like a boulder. What are the chances of that happening?! My window wasn’t even open all the way! I’m lucky it didn’t hit me in the glasses or in the eye.
