New PowerMacs aren’t any better

The Mac benchmarking site, BareFeats, has put up their results between the new DDR RAM PowerMacs, the Xserve running the same DDR RAM and the old SDRAM PowerMacs.  The new PowerMacs aren’t better at all.  In fact, the old SDRAM Mac beat both the new tower and Xserve in one of the tests!  This is very lame.  I, for one, am hoping that Apple switches to either IBM’s Power4 chip or gets into some kind of deal with AMD.  Motorola has crippled Apple, and Apple has been too slow in getting out of the situation.
