New Respect For Keanu Reeves

I have a newfound respect for Keanu Reeves now.  Keanu has given �50 million to the “unsung heroes” of the Matrix series, the costume and effects teams.  Each one will end up getting �1.75 million.  When asked why he would do this, Keanu responded with:

“Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries.”

During the filming of the Matrix films, he bought each stuntman a $16,000 Harley-Davidson.  Keanu has also given millions to leukaemia research because his sister has been fighting it for a decade.

That is freakin’ awesome.  This is my kind of movie star.  Not only is he in one of my all time favorite movies, but he’s amazingly down to Earth and generous.  My hats off to you, Mr. Reeves.

That is quite impressive. Not many like him at all.

Now, only if I had known this when I saw Keanu along with Dan Akroyd here in Crystal, MN a few years ago…... hmmmm.

You know there will be thousands of “volunteers” to help work with the Keanu’s next movies. I’m thinking about volunteering myself. Kidding.
