News From The Mac Front

Apple has released updates to both iCal and iSync.  Improvements for iCal include performance and stability enhancements, and improved support for importing vCal and Entourage information.  iSync improvements include automatic sync scheduling and performance and stability improvements.  iSync is still in beta form though, so there will be a few more bugs still.

And on the hardware front, Apple has jointly filed for a patent for “chameleonic” computer housing.  Using LEDs and light pipes, your Mac could change its color based on any number of things including your mood, what’s going on in the computer or with music.  It looks like it could be cool, but I’ll have to wait and see how it’s done.
