NewsFire

Dave Watanabe makes great software.  His creations not only function superbly, they look amazing and are easy to use too.  The first app I saw from him was Acquisition, a P2P file sharing app.  It is the nicest looking Gnutella client for the Mac, in my opinion.  I used it for about five minutes before buying it.

Well, Dave has been working on another little app called NewsFire.  It’s a simple, elegant RSS reader that oozes OS X goodness.  It’s nice just to look at it, let alone use it!

NewsFire is in early beta, so not all of the features are there yet, and there will most likely be bugs.  Still, after using it for just a few minutes, I’ll be making it my default reader now.  Check it out for yourself.
