Wow! Chrisruzin.net is one year old today! I can’t believe I stuck to this weblog thing for one year. I remember after only a few posts, I was already starting to lose interest in it. I don’t know exactly what changed in my mindset, but I stuck with it. I’m glad I did too. One year and 690 posts later, I’m still going strong and interested in all kinds of topics. Along the way, I’ve made some friends and learned a lot about many different issues. I remember Garret at dangerousmeta! told me that he has discovered he’s much more knowledgeable on current issues than most people he talks with simply because of the whole blogging phenomenon. I agree. I can tell my father the details on the news stories that are on TV before the anchors have even begun to talk about them. I think it’s great! I look forward to the next year and all the new topics to talk about and debate over. I also look forward to making more friends and reading more great posts. Maybe by this time next year, I’ll even be married! GASP!
Chris,
With your posts i’ve learned about XWEBS and some of the other programming stuff you’re interested in. From your site I’ve usually followed links into something four levels to really dig up some interesting crap. And you usually have something that allows me to just get pissed off about something, so that’s always a good thing.
Keep up the good blogging, man! Now that Rachel Lucas has shut down for a bit, maybe you’ll get some of her traffic. Then, maybe again, that’s not such a good idea. ![]()
That’s great Chris…. congratulations. Your website can celebrate the date of it’s birth along side other great Americans such as George Washington, and cough Ted Kennedy.
Seriously though. Even though I don’t always agree with everything you have to say, your posts have been both entertaining and informative. Looking forward to much more in the future, and I will of course, be looking forward to reading the announcement of your long awaited marriage.
