PBS: Why The Towers Fell

PBS has created a great Web site to mirror the show they had on a few days ago.  I was especially interested in the story of Brian Clark, 1 of only 4 people above the impact zone who made it out of the South Tower.  It’s a very personal story.  You can easily picture all of the people he was describing, see the dust covered rooms, feel the confusion and sudden realization of what just happened.  Very much worth reading.

It was horrible watching the towers fall that day on TV, knowing that thousands of people had died.  Watching an American icon disappear in a giant cloud of dust and debris.  But after reading this, you begin to realize just how horrible it really was for those who experienced it.
